Full Description & Details

I was 10 years old and my father was a free lance structual engineer who had been hired by the President of the local Jr. College (Charles Walker) to work on an expansion project for the college. They were friends and that evening my father called Dean Walker to tell him that he had completed the work and would drive out to his home to deliver the blue prints. My father and I drove out to the Dean Walkers house, located in the falcuty housing area and upon arrival found Dean Walker, his wife and 5 children standing in his front yard pointing to the sky. I remember everyone being excited and laughing as they tried to define what it was we were experiencing. However, as time passed and the object tilted back and forth, Dean Walker and my father instructed all of the children to go inside. We huddled around the window while my father and dean Walker remained in the front yard. The object disappeared as if it vanished before our eyes. Dean Walker and my father came into the house and called the campus police to see if anyone had called to report the incident. To his suprise only one or two calls had been reported. Dean Walker called the night school professors to see if any class experiments were involved. Again, nothing was reported. My father and Dean Walker completed their business and my father and I returned home. Upon arriving at home, the phone was ringing and my father took the call from dean Walker. I could tell by my fathers comments that dean Walker was upset. My father tried to reassure him that a simple explanation was being overlooked. I asked my father what was the object we had seen and he never answered me. Years later, I attended the Jr. College and Dean Walker was still president. His children were attending the college at that time and we discussed the experience on occassion but as if it were a secret never to be told to anyone. A few years ago, my father and I talked about the sighting and he informed me that Dean Walker suffered emotional and mental hardship from the experience. My father explained that Dean Walker believed it was a UFO and he was often revisited by similar experiences.
