Full Description & Details

I was driving a truck (this was the mid 1970s) and arrived at a town in southern Iowa (Mount Ayr I believe). I stopped at a local gas station to get directions to my next stop. The attendant began giving me directions, but we were interupted by a car that pulled up very fast and came to a stop. We both looked over and saw a man get out. A woman and a couple of kids were still in the car with the windows rolled up. They had their hands and faces pressed up to the glass looking up. The man approched us and the first thing out of his mouth (while pointing up into the sky) was "UFOs". The attendant and I looked up just with a small amount of time to see them, very far up in the sky, just sitting there. They then immediately moved out of site. They seemed to make a stange manuver then went away. The man from the car began telling us that the UFO's were hoovering over his farm in the country. He and his family were so scared they got in the car and drove into town. I had been on the road for over 20 hours at this time due to mechanical problems that day. I couldn't take the stress, so I walked away from the man talking. I finished my truck delivery, then drove the scary lonesome road back to Kansas.
