It was a silvery, white circle, and then I noticed that it was travelling in a straight line across the sky very high above me. It tranversed from approx 30 degrees above the south horizon to 30 degrees above the north horizon in approx 12 - 15 secs. There was no noise, aircraft trail or sudden movements. It went in a completely straight line across the sun. My wife and brother-in-law caught sight of it as well before it disappeared over the horizon.
