Full Description & Details

i was about 13 years old walking from my parents to my grandparents. it was winter and night time. they sky was very clear and the red balls seemed to come from no where they were circling each other in no distinct pattern. i stood watching them for what seems like 2 or 3 minutes they were 20 or 30 feet over the tree tops and seemed very close to me. although i could not tell their size. i ran to tell someone at the house i was walking to but of course they were gone when we returned. Has anyone seen anything like this?.......I have never inquired before
