Full Description & Details

The sighting started just after noon. The object was pointed out to me by a coworker. It was in a cloudless sky so altitude was hard to determine but the general concensus was approx 8-10,000 ft. The object was actually moving due west at a VERY slow rate. It took almost 4 1/2 hrs to go out of sight. As for size, that was hard to determine since we didn't know how high it was. But for comparison, it was the same size as a ping-pong ball held 12' from the viewer. It apeared to be perfectly round (as seen from underneath) and as bright as new chrome.

I am a retired Air Force NCO now working and living in the Fayetteville N.C. area. I most certainly believe that we are not alone. The sighting I have reported is one of two that I have experienced.
