Full Description & Details

We were driving along the Westcoast of Australia direction to Darwin just under Kununurra in the nighttime. The sky was completely black and all of a sudden in front of us a big, green, shining body appeared. It had about the shape of an ellipse and moved in an angle of 25 to 35 towards earth ( it must have been out on the ocean and rather far away , in this case it was really huge)

the light had a strange kind of mechanical glowing to it. It did not look natural at all.

The light disappeared as sudden as it appeared.

Do meteorites glow green? Or really bright? It did not have a tail whatsoever and it was clearly shaped against the sky. It moved in a completely straight line.

Could it be some sort of weather baloon?

Anyways, I have never seen something like this in my life and felt it was worth writing a note.
