Appearance / Description of Object(s)

White circles, appeared slightly convext on each surface, with what appeared to be a line, or cylindrical attachment leading to a smaller black object. The line was stiff and poined forwards on each of the objects.

Size of Object(s)

They appeared to be around 5mm across, relatively, but were quite high in the sky. At a guess i would say they were about 20ft in diameter, but it was hard to judge due to the height.

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

The objects appeared to be about 5000-7500ft up, and about 1-3 miles away.

Description of Area / Surroundings

Suburban area, around 15 miles from Leeds Bradford airport, and close to Power station.

I saw three white, circular objects flying in a triangular formation over my house in Leeds, England. They were moving in a consistant, direct flight, unlike a parachute, or glider and were heading NNE. They didnt appear to be lit up or have any lights shining. At first I thought they may be parachutes as they had what looked like a line coming from the main body, with an object attached to the end of the line. But then i realised the parachutes where not losing or gaining height, and were very high up. Also there was no aircraft around from which they could have jumped from, and as already mentioned, they were moving in a very consistant, direct and swift flight. I was with a friend at the time. I pointed them out to him, but he could not see them, they were not obvious, and made no sound. I was lucky to spot them. Has anyone seen anything similar.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

I have an interest in this area, I find it interesting, but have never actually seen anything strange in the sky before.
