Appearance / Description of Object(s)

The 3 lights were clear to see and easy to tell that they were 3 separate lights. The lights were white, It was almost like hovering in a position where the top of its triangle front was pointed directly upward towards the sky. The UFO was most likely a triangle shape. It was hard to see the UFO's true shape, you could only see the three lights that when connected would make a triangle. When we got our second look at it, it was so far away that it looked like one light in the sky.

With my arm stretched out, it would take 4 of my fingers to cover it.

Description of Area / Surroundings

Very flat, in an area with Walmart, and McDonalds. Near a highway. Not many trees. No mountains/ hills.

When i saw the three lights I noticed they were not blinking like those on an airplane. I started to watch it and told my dad, who was driving, to look. He leaned over and we both looked at it as we waited for the green light. The object was floating in the sky, it wasnt moving that fast, it looked like it was flying straight up into the sky. Then the man behind s honked so we took our eyes off of it for a few seconds, and as i looked back on the object it looked like it was a star far, far away.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

If there is a plane i've never heard about that has three white lights that don't blink, and can go from almost 1000 feet away to a little speck

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I've always believed somethings out there, and i still do. I've watched many shows about UFO sightings and this was like many UFO sighting stories I have seen before.
