Appearance / Description of Object(s)Looking up from the ground, it looked about a few centimeters in size (just to try to guage the distance). It was a bright white glowing dot. I'm not sure how fast it was going because it was so high. There was no tail behind it making me believe it wasn't a meteor. It faded out and disappeared. Size of Object(s)It was a few centimeters, I'm not sure about the actual size because it was dark out and I didn't know how high it was Description of Area / SurroundingsI saw it in an urban area... There were houses all around. CVG airport is a few miles away, along with the GE jet engine plant Full Description & DetailsIt was about nine o'clock. The sky was clear. I saw a moving bright white dot in the sky in my peripheral vision and looked up as I always do. I thought it might have been the strobe lights on a jet, but it was too big to be strobe lights on a jet and it didn't blink. It was only there for a few seconds kind of moving at a fast rate. It faded out, or got smaller, I couldn't tell which, and disappeared and I haven't seen it since. I was thinking it might have been a meteorite, but there was no tail after it. Just the moving white dot. Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?I can't explain it as a natural or man made object because it faded out and didn't show up again Witness BackgroundMcDonald's cook, Senior in High School Views on UFOs, before and after sightingI've always thought they were real. I knew some about Project Blue Book, some sightings in southern Kentucky. One about the farmer who shot an Alien thinking it was an animal. Other CommentsIt's been bugging me for two days and I've been surfing the web for an explanation of the light Reported Sighting?YesReported To:Just my aunt who was drivingYour Location:Erlanger, Kentucky, United StatesAge:18 |
