Full Description & DetailsI was traveling from Los Angles to El Paso through interstate highway 10 for some odd reason I like to count the mile markers and simultaniously look at the clock and do the math in my head as to how far I traveled, how long it has taken me to get thus far, how much further I have to travel and how long it will take me at the current speed. I know that sound kind of lame but it was a boring drive. I dont remember which mile I was on but I know it was in the Arizona desert. I was traveling at 70 mph so I know that what happened was impossible. As I finished passing a mile marker I picked up my cup of coffee took a little sip ( this took no longer than 10 seconds) and as i look at the road another mile marker came up and it indicated that I traveled 15 miles in seconds it was still the same minute, also the scienery was completly diffrent. although this may sound like nothing or it could have been a mistake by the state but I have traveled this road before and the gas mileage was of set when I should have beenat a empty tank I still had enough to make it to the next city. Witness BackgroundI was at thattime unemployed and was relocating to go to a affordable univarsity. currently I work at a research center for Texas A&M, also a DJ for the local NPR radio station, and I am a full time student.
