Summary:

15-20 bright orange lights moving at take-off speed but horizontal to the ground over a residential area in South Jakata. They were silent and equidistant, and then veered sharply higher, forming a circle that each light entered one by one, waiting in the air until the last light entered at 11 o'clock. The sky was a bit polluted and then the first lights disappeared, but another set of at least 10 lights followed the same horizontal pattern and formed an elongated diamond in the same place as the circle had been formed. These too disappeared within minutes.

Locals claimed that they had seen them for several nights and thought they were balloons, but they were silent and too directed to be controlled by pilots.
