Appearance / Description of Object(s)Point of light-As a meteor Size of Object(s)Point of light-As a meteor Distance to Object(s) & Altitude200-300 miles out-cloud deck was probably around 30-40,000 ft Description of Area / SurroundingsUrban city 2 miles north of MSP Full Description & DetailsWas observing from ground departure aircraft from MSP at 19:05. Observed a point of light simular to a meteor decending from south to north at a 45 degree angle. There was a departure aircraft about 50 miles out WSW at around 10,000 ft. This object came to cloud deck level and made a rounded left turn. Then it made a sharp but rounded right, then another sharp but rounded left. Then it appeared to be ascending at the same angle it decended. Then the object faded. This point of light apparently had some reflection capabilities with the sun just below the horizon so when turns were made it would brighten then fade. I had to believe that the pilot just outside of the MSP departure zone witnessed this same event. Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object? Not an explainable object. Never seen such speed and accurate turns from our conventional aircraft. Views on UFOs, before and after sightingI just observe. Usually enjoy looking at the stars or watching aircraft depart or on approach. Reported Sighting?YesReported To:www.nuforc.orgName:Jerry M.Your Location:Minneapolis,MNAge:49 |
