Large Bright White Light, Circular with a visible smaller one near it.

It was miles away. Just looked like a massive star, but larger and brighter.

I am in an urban area, however this object looked to be miles away - over the ocean even.

Full Description & Details

A large bright light, about 10 times the size of other stars. There was a visable little light near this one also. I was watching and it was there for over 15 minutes. Then when I looked back it had dissapeared, the little light also. My mum also saw this, and couldn't explaine it; as it was larger than any star in the sky.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

No, the object did not move at all. Then was gone.
