It was a bright light. I could not determine the shape.

It would tke a fingernail to cover it. It was about 20 feet across.

One mile away from me to my right. Around 1,000 feet in the air.

Description of Area / Surroundings

It was a remote area from any major cities. The plants in the area are mostly catus and mesquite trees.

I was on my way to visit relitives on my families ranch. I was looking out the window and I saw something that made me feel weird inside. A light seemed to be following us on the right side. I continued to watch it. After about 40 sec. it stopped abruptly in its path. The light then emited a redish purple ball around it and rocketed faster across the sky then I had ever seen. It had to have been going 10,000 miles per hour.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

No.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I started wanting to know more after I saw it. I never really mentioned anything about UFOs or aliens before the sighting.
