Brilliant white circular lights. One on top then two, then three and possbly a row of four. The formation was vertical.

It was hard to decipher the size.

Rural and wooded. Cape Canaveral is fairly close to this spot.

Full Description & Details

We saw a triangular formation of lights very closely resembling the Phoenix lights but seven years prior. The lights were on the south( right) side of the car and followed effortlessly without breaking formation for at least ten miles. One of the lights broke off from the rest as we were going over a bridge . It seemed to be about 50 yards from the car. I felt watched or as if I were being photographed. It stayed for about 25 seconds or so, then swooped off and disappeared . They all disappeared. This happened about 5 am because the sun came up by the time we were on Cocoa Beach. My sister asked a waitress if she had seen anything. We got the are you crazy or what look. It also occured to us that cape Canaveral is right there as well. Maybe they were testing something. If they were , we have technology far greater than the public knows. It was my sister, her now ex husband, their daughter who was six at the time and me. All four of us saw them! Years later when I discovered a story online about the Phoenix lights the hair stood up on the back of my neck as the memories of our sighting flooded my mind.

I didn't have a concrete opinion. I thought is could be a possibility but I wasn't sure. I knew very little. I hadn't even heard of Roswell.

Other Comments

It was exciting to see. We felt like we were being observed. My neice is now 21 and still remembers even though she was six at the time. Now I can see how egotistic it is for us to think we are the only life in our massive outer space. It was awesome.
