Triangular, greyish, had three lights (one bright and two dim)

It is very hard to say. It seemed a few cm from my sight but I have no idea about its real size.

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

It seemed to be quite low down. Not very close, but not too far away.

Kind of rural, Withernsa is a small town.

When I was playing football with a friend there was a bright light in the distance, over the north sea. I just thought it was a satellite or star or something. Later on, it was moving past my direction. It became visible, and it seemed to be a greyish traingle. It had one bright light (probably the one I could see previously) and two dimmer ones. Then it had gone past.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

It is probably a plane. It was dark, but it seemed not to be a plane of any sort.
