Appearance / Description of Object(s)

no recollection of an object , just a bright red, orange type of light. the light seems to have frozen me in time for a second or two. suddenly i was somewhere else running for my life and in search of my parents.

what ever light i saw it obviously came from above and engulged my immediately.

the area was open and covered with trees. it's located in the urban city of newark, nj.

Full Description & Details

As stated above i was at a park walking towards a water fountain. suddenly a bright orange light engulfed me and i seem to had benn transported somewhere else. i recall running away from something. i was obviously scared and looking for my parents. they eventually found me about a mile and a half from where i had been. it's as if abeam of light beamed me up and transported me upwards and then somewhere else. i have no recollection of what occured during this possible abduction. the location was in branch brook park in Newark NJ. it was a sunny day in the park some time during the spring or summer. I'd like to add that i'm not crazy and i'm very credible. i'm currently a High School teacher. i have never been able to explain in a logical way what happened to me on that particular day. i'd like to add that since this incident i began to suffer from a series of nightmares and sleep paralasis until the age of 25. i'm 35 now and these difficulties in sleeping have stopped.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

i'm an LAD History teacher. This means Language Acquisition teacher. i've been teaching for 10 years. i've also held a supermarket job for the last 19 years. i obviously have a college degree and 30 post graduate credits. I'm one course shy of a masters in ESL.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

i'm receptive to the possibility of their existence. i'm also very curious as to the same unaswered questions regarding this phenomenon.
