bright, white/silver color,odd circle shape,not exactly round but not cylindrical.

It seemed like I would have been a mile away from it. It wasn't a huge object,it looked to be medium size

It was above the tree tops

It was a rural area,in a field. Not sure if there was a military base around.

Full Description & Details

The object was a whitish/silverish color and it was hovering in the sky. I told everybody to look up because I had no idea what it was. As we were all watching,it slowly went backwards then went forwards quick,then backwards. It looked like it was moving sideways also,but it was hard to tell. It hovered again then went very fast forwards and went out of sight.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

If there was a military base around,it could have been a airplane,but it seemed too small and made no noise.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I NEVER believed in UFO's before. I never read too much about them either. But this incident has been bothering me for years and now I have a more open mind.
