Description of Area / SurroundingsThis was at a small lake (Lac St. Cyr), 15 minutes NE of St. Paul, AB. I thought it funny and ironic, because St. Paul has a Flying Saucer Landing Pad to celebrate Canada’s Centennial in 1967. It's a tourist attraction, one of several Centennial projects organized by the town. The only military base would be near Cold Lake, an hour north of Lac St. Cyr. Full Description & DetailsMy husband & I & kids went down to the beach, at the lake this May long weekend, to check out the sunset (Northwest), as we do around the same time every evening. On this particular evening, the sunset was spectacular. I kept snapping my Kodak EasyShare CX7300 digital camera, trying to get many great pictures of the sun setting within the 20 minutes or so.
Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?Definitely not the moon, as it was behind us in the southeast. Witness BackgroundI live in Edmonton, Alberta. I work with special needs (young & old). Views on UFOs, before and after sightingI believe that something is out there, observing us. I get skeptical sometimes, but mostly, I believe there is life beyond our solar system. There have been many sitings all over the world (and many in the area of St. Paul alone) Other CommentsSome farmers around the area (Elk Point, AB) said some of their cattle had been mutilated with only certain organs removed and no sign of blood.
