Summary:

we were driving at dusk ..behind a truck when we saw a ufo only 300 metres away coming very slowly at tree level...it moved off with tremendous speed to the right side to depart but saw us and stopped dead turned on its axis so it could come back which it did and came up the highway heading towards us..the truck braked as it looked as if ufo....triangle shaped with red blue and white brilliant lights was going to collide with the truck....the ufo went over the truck and came flying directly towards our car at less than tree level looking as if was going to hit us...we were of the impression this ufo was wanting to frighten us as it veered away before impact could happen then ufo went and landed in paddock to our left, we were 1km from merridin ...seeing the city limits.....we turned the car around to get another look which took approx 1 minute then when we looked at paddock and sky there was nothing to be seen....i will add that we were driving across australia and 3 nights before we were tailed buy 2 then 4 lights for approx 45 minutes on the hay plains in NSW..these were hallogenic lights that put on an amazing display of light and had very clever moves...my husband and 4 teenagers feel that we were being somehow investigated over this 3 day period as we constantly seemed to be teased....so there you go!! never a believer until then!! cheers
