The object was disc shape very bright appeared to look like the planet saturn, the disc shaped object had a circular form in the center with a ring around it , the object glowed and circled the ring going over and under the ring

I was seven years old and in the year of 1979 I couldnt sleep I was looking outside of my bedroom window and in the sky noticed three lights in the sky in the distance zooming very fast all over. I became frightened I knew what I was seeing was going to fast to be an airplane so I went upstairs to my parents bedroom and crawled into their bed. I continued to look out the window beside their bed. I then noticed a very bright disc shaped object glowing that hovered over the patio. It hovered a long time, I was very frightened so I turned by head and slept on my left side. To this day I remember as if it were yesterday and I do not know why I did not wake my parents up.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

No and in 27 years my story has not changed I can remember it as if it were yesterday
