Appearance / Description of Object(s)

The ufo was about 30 ft long, saucer shaped and very black in color. There was no detectable noise as it hovered over the hills.

It was about 30 ft. long and about 10 ft. tall.

It was a couple hundred yards away from us and maybe 50 ft in the air.

Description of Area / Surroundings

This area is very rural. The ufo was flying above the Naval Weapons station. We saw it between two hills while driving down a very windy road.

Full Description & Details

While I was bringing my daughter home from her Dad's house in Pittsburg, Ca.,my daughter and I saw a large flying disc hovering between the hills just above the Naval Weapons Station about 3pm. This is a very windy road, so we only saw it for about 3 seconds. When we reached the bottom of the hill, which took about 10 seconds it was gone. The weather was beautiful, you could see for miles. But this was not the first time for me to see such a thing...

It was in the fall of 1999, I was driving east on hwy. 4 about 10pm, The weather was clear and the traffic was minimal. Just as I reached the same weapons station it lit up like daylight!! Just the weapons station. It lasted about 5 seconds then disappeared. While lit, I was searching like crazy for the light source. Of course I soon realized that it wasn't normal. When I got home told my boyfriend about it and he went on to tell me that one night him and his his ex were on the same freeway, in the same area but going west and the whole inside of his truck lit up with a blinding light for only a couple of seconds. wild!!

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

HA-HA, it can only be explained as a UFO.

I attended college for a short time before my son was born, spent about 8 years as a secretary for a Dr., a law firm and finally an invewstment firm. Eventually I needed medical for my growing family and invested 18 years with a grocery chain in middle management.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I have always been interested in ufo's, but not seriously. I have a very open mind. After the sighting I still cannot get enough on the subject!

Other Comments

I have never told anyone about this because my daughter was 14 at the time and was not ready to share this with her peers as you can undersand. And the last thing I ever wanted was to become known as a "nut" within my community.
