While trying to sleep my son was distracted by a light in the sky outside. He peered through the blinds and saw an object with lights all around it. I asked him to draw it for me and it was the classic looking UFO. He said it went back and forth and then zoomed across the sky.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

He's just a kid and has no beliefs about UFO's but is naturally scientific minded.

My son is not prone to make-up such bizarre stories. I have no idea what he saw.
