There were about 15 white lights, about the size of a small car. No solid form, just lights like a cars head lights in the fog.

About 150 - 200 feet up. Size of circle when hovering, 200 yards possibly.

Rural area, no special sites at all.

Full Description & Details

Noticed dangerously low passenger jet, thought it was going to crash, was just above our house. Then son noticed the lights and told me to look up into the sky. The whole family saw lots of patches of white lights in the thin layer of cloud. They seemed to be chasing each other like bugs in a petri dish. This went on for about 7 minutes. They then zoomed off into the distance and came back a few moments later. They settled into a huge circle and hovered for a further 30 minutes. At this point I contact our local police station and asked them if there were any laser or lights shows going on in our area. I was told there wasn't and was asked to report what I was seeing. I knew it wasn't lasers or lights from the ground because there were no beams visible. The police officer logged the call. I managed to get some footage on my camcorder. It's not perfect but you can clearly see the lights. The whole family was really shaken by what we had seen. A friend of my husbands who lives not very far from us also witness the plane and saw the lights. I would really love to know what it was that we saw.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

Absolutely not.

I have an open mind. I do not know what this was therefore I cannot make a judgement. I do believe in the possibility of life somewhere else in the universe, but I most definitely NOT have a screw loose.
