it was at night. i was at my mothers house. i was in her back patio and it was inbetween 6:00 and 7:00 pm (about 30 min. to an hour after sundown). she lives on the west side of town along I-10 (houston). i was smoking a cigarette facing east and in the sky there was a silverish sphere traveling south. it had no lights which made me focus on it. airplanes (or any other aircraft in the sky) have lights, but this had none what so ever. it made no sound and it was moving fairly slow. it was not too high in the sky. at the distance i was at from it, i could only tell it was a silver shere, maybe egg-shaped. and again, no lights.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

i've tried to rationalize it. no luck. i have never seen something like that. maybe you guys could help explain.

i guess there is an interest in the unknown. i don't rule in or out the possibilities.
