It was oblong and VERY bright, not bright white though, bright tan like color with flashing lights.

We saw it with the naked eye, I dont know how far away it was from us, so size would be hard to even guess. Relatively a foot. Actually, huge.

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

At the time, we thought it was a couple miles away.

Description of Area / Surroundings

To us it looked like it was over dairy land.

My husband and I were coming home from dinner that night, driving across Riverside drive. He noticed it first and asked if it was a UFO. My husband is the biggest skeptic ever, and he was asking me if it was a UFO. It was just hoovering in one spot for the few minutes it took us to travel that road. It was a oblong shape, and very bright. We did see flashing lights, and my husband kept trying to convince himself it was a helicopter.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

No, the closest man mad object it resembled is a blimp, but blimps dont stay in one place like this did.

My views, Before, I believed there was something out there but didnt read up on it, and rarely watch any shows. Now I am sure. My husband was a big sceptic, now he's not.
