Appearance / Description of Object(s)it was hard to see any object behind the black smoke, but when the smoke started to turn orange and I saw it was moving FAST, I saw what looked like a small sun. Size of Object(s)probably pretty close to the size of a fighter Description of Area / SurroundingsBeginning of sighting was witnesed from cambrian heights over charleswood,so urban setting. Full Description & DetailsI first saw a THICK trail of black smoke (have photo) with something moving very slowly if at all, at the font of the column. Right away I assumed a plane was on fire in flight, when the smoke trail turned almost bright as the craft continued I was sure it had just exploded. I could then see what looked like a small sun at the head of the column and realized the object was MUCH farther away (heading west almost as far as bears paw literally in seconds), so now I'm thinking comet or something, but no. The craft made a hard left then last I saw it on the horizon with a trail of orange following far behind it but dissipating quickly. The black trail it began with is STILL partially visible from my front window and sighting was over half hour ago. Another oddity, the black trail first started only a few hundred feet above ground (at moment of sighting). The trail left behind object was definately not the type of smoke trails you'd normally see from airplanes, even if they could move that fast, at that low an altitude. Some might argue it was a fighter of some sort, but to go from almost motionless to those speeds without a sound (let alone a sonic boom). Based on what I saw, this was a real deal U.F.O.
Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object? It seemed every time I had a rational explanation the object did something else to disprove that theory Views on UFOs, before and after sightingQuite a bit. Ever curious about the universe and the probability of inteligent life in the cosmos. Other CommentsNever one to jump the gun, even if I wanted it to be a UFO, theres no way I'd try to convince myself it was. I saw what I saw. Reported Sighting?NoYour Location:CalgaryAge:24 |
