Thin cigarette shaped craft. also, it was bright because the sun really shone on it.

i'm really not sure, i wasn't paying much attention as to how big it was, but it didn't appear to look all that large from where i was, and the clouds were reasonably low.

it was just in the middle of the town. it wasn't close to any naval bases or airports or anything like that.

I'm not normally a believer in this sort of thing, but whatever that thing was that I saw just today really creeped me out.

I was walking to the tourist bureou to pick up some pamphlets and a newspaper for my Mum Because we're on holiday here. When I walked out, I noticed a woman pointing at the sky and getting her friend's attention. I instantly thought that she was pointing to a parachuter or a stunt plane. But when I looked behind me, in the direction the two women were pointing at, I saw something unbelievable. It was a thin object in the shape of a cigarette. I was looking at it in disbelief for about three seconds then it quickly darted backwards and forwards then zoomed behind a bunch of clouds faster than any air transport i had seen before. I kept looking over at the clouds for quite a long time but never saw it again. I am hoping that this will be on the news tonight so my family won't keep saying "It was probably just a plane."

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

I don't think we've invented anything like that yet. and I don't think it was a star either.

before, I thought of ufos as make believe. but after seeing that, it really makes me wonder.
