It was a lake/park in the middle of an urban housing development

I was laying on the ground just watching the skyline, then between 2 trees I saw what looked like a blimp appear. it actually faded into view, sink a bit, then catch itself as it quickly transforms into a classic ufo "saucer." it went east a little bit, then back up to its origonal path and dissapeared. I had to chuckle a little bit becasue it looks like it fell and caught itself.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

maybe a weather balloon that poped and then was caught in an updraft
