Description of Area / Surroundings

This was Gainesville, FL. I was litteraly 2 blocks from the University of Florida campus.

I only remember this because after coincidently looking up and seeing of this, I thought "I just saw a ufo!" It was nothing more than a bright object that passed quickly through the sky. It disappeared behind a two story apartment building. This was College View Apartments at 1105 NW 3rd AVE. That's were I was living at the time. I am not sure about the date. But I am sure about location.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

It was definately not natural, I know what the stars, planets, moon, birds, and clouds look like. I don't know of any man made object that can produce this effect, however I believe it probably was. I would like to learn that it was extraterrestial, but it's not likely.

Currently going back to school for computer engineering. I've worked in the retail business since the mid 90's.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

It was 1995, I was a college student, I've heard of UFOs. But they are unitendified, not neccissarily ET. I just know what I saw I couldn't identify.
