Shape, oval to somewhat triangular. White, red spot light, at times green light.

Relative, the size of a pea. Actual size, perhaps the size of a small airplane.

Urban area. I live in the city of Pittsburgh. You can see downtown from my neighborhood.

Full Description & Details

I went into my bed and looked outside and thought it was a plane since I live in a high traffic area for flights. However, as I watched what could have been a star or helicopter I realized that this was not a regular object. I thought it might be a star but I live in the city of Pittsburgh in a residential neighborhood with a baseball field and street lights... the only stars visible were a clear blue color. This object appeared stationary for 1/2 an hour and as the night went on and reached about 6 AM it started moving Eastward and upward in a very slow motion. The object had a red spotlight and at times would turn off and on and also omitt a light green or white light from outside of the brightness. The object reminded me of Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon's Album Cover (PS: I don't listen to that music and I was straight and sober as always when I saw this object).The size from my viewing position was very small (perhaps the size of a pea).

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

It appeared natural but as I observed it it was clear that the light was coming from a man-made object.
