Appearance / Description of Object(s)

It looked very much like a full moon on the horizon, but flying so you could watch it. Very smooth no marks at all, smooth, lighted from within. Bright, not dim.

Size of Object(s)

I would say it was 50-75 yards across, flying very fast, certainly was not a balloon, or blimp, or anything like that. This was a craft from somewhere, certainly not a meteor.

Description of Area / Surroundings

Right over downtown Phoenix and over Camelback Mountain about 8 pm on Halloween night, 2002. I have never heard anyone talking about this sighting, but I can't believe no one else saw it. I would be interested to know if anyone else saw it or what it was if they know.

Full Description & Details

Was a very large flying disc, completely silent, looked like a round disk that was lighted from within. It looked like a flat full moon but was smooth, but the same shape and color.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

too big, too fast to be a blimp, silent, no markings at all, but seemed to glow from inside. Nothing like I had ever seen before.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I have seen some very unusual things over the course of many years, but never anything as clear and unexplainable as I saw that night.

Other Comments

I hope to find some other people who saw this. It was certainly not my imagination, and it was something very unusual and very visible. I have never reported this sighting before, and my wife saw it, same as I did, but I am sure she would not talk about it. This makes me understand a little why people don't report things, being afraid of ridicule, or whatever. This sighting as caused me a lot of unrest over the years. It was something very unusual.
