For the second time (first was July 2005) there has been a ghost cloud over Germany for several hours drifting east. Ghost cloud meaning that the weather radar picks up a reading of a cloud without there being any visible cloud.

This was an enormous object - 400 x100 km length and breadth and at least 100 m thick. Seen by 16 radar stations, so that it was not a technical fault. Other mechanisms such as kerosene, birds, etc. can be ruled out due to the dimension of the thing - see analysis in

Only remaining hypothesis of German weather service was huge amounts of Chaff relelased by military secretly - but first they deny that, and secondly, if it was Chaff, then the calculation is (at least):

400×100x0.1 Km cubed = 1000 Km Cubed. If you need 0.01g in each cubic metre (the least possible for chaff),

that means total weight of chaff = 0.00001*1000*1000*1000*1000 Kg = 40,000 tonnes!!!!!!

That would need hundreds of cargo planes - even with Galaxy's dozens of them (each Galaxy takes at most 200 tonnes) . And if we take a hevier tyoe of chaff (2g/m**3) then you need thousands of Galaxys, as the cloud mass is then 2 million tonnes. But there are not even ten thousand Galxy’s or Belugas on Earth.

Ergo: dark matter, ghosts, cloudy ufo - in general, mystery…

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

No - see description. All conventional hypotheses have been ruled out. For the July 2005 case if 10,000 - 2,000,000 tonnes of chaff could have been dumped over the North Sea to spread eastward, this was not possible for the march 2006 case as the huge squadrons of supposed military would have had to release over central Germany, in a thickly populated area.
