i live on the 3rd floor overlooking at crabtree valley it was seen 10 to 15 miles away i would say it was over north hills mall

i was looking out the window at the sky line and a white or silver oblong object came out of no where moving fast thats how it caught my eye ,it flew across the skyline stoped i moved closer to the window then it returned to where it came back into the trees a few mins later i saw a very quick flash headed straight up..

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

i used to read about them 8 to 10 yrs ago but not religously
