It had a constant low hum, unlike an engine. It was a circular set of lights at one end, and one bright light at the other end, like a tail. It had roughly 10-15 light in the main end (the circular end), and 1-3 lights at the "tail" end. It hovered approximately 500 feet above our house, and we attempted to follow it by car. However, as quickly as it had appeared in the sky, it was gone.
