Appearance / Description of Object(s)

It was round or very elonggated like an oval. It was hard to tell. It was metalic in color with yellow and blue lights on the side. We were no more than 200 feet from it and observed it for over one hour before it just rose and left silently.

Size of Object(s)

It had to be about 30 feet high and at least 250 feet long.

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

Object was hovering just above ground and then flew off into the night sky.

Outside Toledo Ohio in rural countryside in a farm field.

We were driving in the country just fooling around with dates and ssaw a large disc in a farm field. We watched it for over an hour and then it just rose and left. We never told anyone what we saw and to this day it has bothered me. I am retired now and live on Long Island but I truly saw a large disc, the size of a Jet plane in a field silently rise into the sky.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

I have carried this with me for nearly 40 years and told no one. It can't be explained in any normal manner and it has bothered me for all these years,

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

Never say anything else, graduated U. Toledo became a teacher, Principal, Superintendent and now retired but never said a word to anyone abot this. Always felt people would laugh at me and now it doesn't matter.
