it was round...it looked like your classic ufo...round with a bulge on top..it had blinking/flashing orange/red colors. and it was fast when it zipped away

i dont remember it was far away when i saw it. but maybe the size of a small building...maybe 20-30 feet in length...then maybe half the lenght for the height

the object was pretty far away...maybe .......anywere from 600-900 feet..

My family and I were driving through iowa either going through it or coming home from a car trip to see a family freind..it must have been around 10 or 11 o clock...i was sleeping but i felt uncomfortable so i woke up and sat up and stared outside for awhile. then i noticed something in the distance it was hovering over a cornfield...im not quite sure how far away it is but i remember it wasnt that close but i could make out the basic layout it hovered over the cornfield about 10 feet or so..i watched it for a second then it zipped away...it went really really fast....it flew upward at a mind boggling rate of speed...i dont remember what happened next but it is clear as day in my mind.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?
