Appearance / Description of Object(s)

They were black and shaped like a dome (nothing like stealth bombers) I only saw the husk and couldn't see the bottom. There were no other exterior features.

Description of Area / Surroundings

Urban, a Saturday afternoon cold, blue skies and no pedestrian (as it was away from the shops), it was nearly a week ago that there'd been the gas explosions in Hertfordshire (11th December).

At 2pm on the 17th December I was on the high road in North Finchley and it was a clear afternoon, not a cloud in the sky - perfectly blue. It was a lovely day and so I was taking in the sky view (on the same side of the road as the fast cars/approved cars show room) and to my left I saw two dome like objects. They were stationary and I tried to take a photo on my mobile, but as I tried to they began to move. The first moved diagonally up into space within 3/5secs and then disappeared and the second a few seconds later.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

It resembled no other flying object - black bird or stealth bomber - it flew diagonally.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I am open minded and 4/5 years ago read Ian Banks, Isaac Asimov books etc. I was amazed to see them in the broad day light in Finchley - a complete shook - but I know what I saw and I won't forget the exact spot - I still look up when I pass that area.
