shape- sphere, color- red, orange, yellow, crimson, brightness- just enough to make your eyes start to water so i guess pretty bright, speed- 20 mph

a suberb apartment complex with a lot of trees and hills nothing much else. no power plants or bases as far as i know

my friends and i were just out playing on a hill in back of our apartments. the town had a lot of trees, hills, no speciel complexes like air bases, and just a little while away from Chicago so there is always heavy traffic. wheni look up as i was about to roll down the hill when i was this bright red comet like object flying through the air. it was just starting to get dark and the sun was setting but i know this was not some thing normal in our area. i stood there for a while before calling my friends and show them. they to just stood there wondering what this thing was. at first i thought it was a comet or medorite or some thing like that but i never recalled any thing on the news about a metor shower or a comet being visible that night so that just made me freak out kind of. it looked like a rock on fire with a tail of redish orange flames. it did not make any noice or increase in temp around us. it was almost as if it was just...there not doing any thing. so it fell behind the trees and was out of our line of site. we chased it for a while but never got a good look at it again. i ran home to check the news but there was nothing that could be related to my siting.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

i always thought there was some thing ou there watching us and some time visting. after i saw this happening i still belieave in them strongly. it is kind of scary but fear is only the first step in understanding so i wish to learn more about them.
