Rural, Dairy Farm, the field it was above was a corn field.

Full Description & Details

I was home on vacation from the Navy, at approximately 9:00 PM, my mother said that there where some strange lights at the top of the field, when I went outside, I couldn't belive it, I was excited and I said that a UFO, it was just sitting there hovering above the ground maybe a couple of hundread feet, making a noise that I'll never forget. After standing outside a few minutes it just slowly moved, went over the lake and hill and was gone.

The next day it was all over the news, called the Mid Husdson sighting.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

My view before and after is that the universe is too big for us to be the only ones. Only new what I saw on television about UFO's.
