it looked like a giant box kite but way to big

the distance was about one city block 50 by 50 hight maybe 20 ft in hight

just at the lake front icouldent say if it took off or went underwater

i thought it was someone flying a kite but it was to big to windy ,

it was just over the water line over the lake for about 5 min's than it was gone

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

i was looking down at it from a high rise bulding
