In Mexico City a group of scientists from the UNAM, the top
Mexican University gave a press conference trying to explain the
mysterious lights recorded by the Mexican Air Force C26A during
the incident of March 5, 2004.

In an improvised speech the group's leader Rafael Navarro from
the Institute of Nuclear Science of the UNAM announced that the
unknown lights were just luminous sparks of plasma energy, a
natural phenomena and showed a video of a recreation they made
in a laboratory of this effect trying to make a comparison with
the C26A footage.

With this statement Rafael Navarro disqualified FLIR Systems,
Inc. (Nasdaq:FLIR) the multimillion defense industry of
Portland, Oregon and their winner product the Star Safire II
implying they are not reliable.

FLIR Systems, Inc. is one of the most awarded companies in
designing high defense airborne imaging systems, perimeter
security systems and reconnaissance and surveillance systems.

Awarded by the goverments of several countries with contracts
for millions FLIR has been distinguished as one of the world's
top industry in defensive systems.

Surely Mr. Rafael Navarro simply doesn't know of whom is he
talking. But the sceptic's press conference was filled with
contradictions among themselves, exposing their lack of
information about the incident and the C26A equipment data.

Rafael Navarro declared that the lights recorded by the FLIR
were merely sparks. Then showed the video they made in a
laboratory but the light recreated was did not even come close
to the FLIR images. The worst came when Navarro said that they
don't have any knowledge of a case where this phenomena could
appear in such high atmosphere and added that maybe this is the
first case in the scientific database. A contradiction.

Julio Herrera, another scientist of the group, declared that the
C26A incident was a very rare phenomena that deserves to be
analized more carefully. A complete contradiction of what Rafael
Navarro concluded.

Rafael Navarro and the rest of the UNAM scientists recognized
that they did'nt have access to the C26A data as well as the
FLIR footage and the RADAR information. They just saw what was
presented on television and then adopted their own conclusions.
A very reckless posture.

This improvised press conference to a very small audience was
a ridicule attempt to debunk the DoD case. The UNAM scientists
looked more like amateurs contradicting themselves and showing a
reduced knowledge of modern technology and advanced detection
systems. They made their statements just following the old book
but without contribute a single acceptable element to the
investigation on this case. A mediocre exposition and a ridicule
conclusion.

For all our friends that want to know everything about this
great case I invite you this next Sunday May 16, 2004 to our two
hours LIVE tv show Los Grande Misterios del Tercer Milenio
broadcast simultaneously on the Internet from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Mexico Time where host Jaime Maussan will present for the first
time the complete investigation on the mexican Air Force March
5, 2004 ufo incident presenting the complete footage, interviews
with the crew, studies and analisis performed and a full review
of the story.
