I'm sitting at a stop light in a heavily urban, busy city. As I wait for the light to change, I casually look up into a cloud bank, and notice what should be a small plane flying at maybe 9000 or 10000 feet - I'm no pilot. Standard flying altitude for that kind of plane. No real details on the structure of the craft I assume it is just a typical light plane. The plane enters the cloudbank, and a fraction of a second later, re-emerges from where it had just come. Same tragectory, etc. Stops on a dime, at what was, from my perspective, 1/2 inch from where it had entered. Fluid like a clockwork, not jerky. It then re-enters the cloudbank just like it had a fraction of a second ago, and is gone.

3 bright white/yellow lights seemed to be circleing each other in a weird formation with a very high pith'ed noise 1 by 1 they disapered until none were there, but the high pitched noise syaed for abour 20 seconds later

My wife and I were returning from shopping headed south on route three towards Bremerton around 9 p.m. we spotted 2 objects in the sky above the city at an altitude of less than 1000 ft. they did not apear to be moving but rather hovering in place. The objects emmmited a yellow light. After more than a minute the lower object shot off in an easterly direction and sort of winked out of sight, I dont know of anything that could attain such speed from a static position. It grew slightly brghter before it shot off though. At this point the remaining craft grew bighter and hovered over bremerton traveling west over route 3 as it crossed over the highway we noticed not one light but 5, it had a red light in its center and four yellow lights at 4 corners like a dice we lost sight of it as it traveled over th tree line. I could not make out any flashing lights or aerodynamic shape that denotes any aircraft or helo that Ive ever seen. Please e

Looking from our back patio into the sky we witnessed a v shaped object with glowing orange lights. Each light was appro the size of a 747. About 9 lights and 2 lights on the left side of the object. This object was moving in a a southeast direction. The object made no sound and was moving 3 times faster then an airplane.

the object came from the north and hoverd aboved the tree line for about 20 seconds

i snap a picture of it, then it headed staght for us me my wife and her girl friend and my brother. other people where there to, it stood above us i say it was about a mile above us very large. i snap one more picture of the object and washed in amasment.thenabout 20 seconds more.it shoot out to the east at ahigh rate of speed that it left a vapor trail then it stop hovering above the lake for 40 seconds i snap one more picture then it whent straght up into the blue sky.i did not know what to make of it

i thought at first it was a millitary air craft but not the way it moved and looked.very strange color and the bottom reminded me of a hole into space you can allmost make out star like lights under the oject.I do have pictures of it and i did send a copy to Stanton freidman but i think he never got them.

Hello: I took this photo in summer of 1978 in ValDor,Quebec ,Canada.

I was on a fishing trip.

Looked up and saw object hovering over tree tops.

Grabbed camera and took 1 shot with I believe Kodak instamatic? camera with the old 110 film I believe it was at the time.

I had to lower camera to wind film and when I raised it to take another shot craft was gone.

This photo was taken in a very remote area,still that way today.

Nearest town of significance is some 60 miles,nearest airport at the time was over 200 miles away.

This is native virgin country,and this photo is not a plane or balloon as there is no one or no government or no agency that could have been doing anything.

This object hovered for at least 15 seconds that I saw, could have been there for a while as my line of vision to fish way away from the craft and I had not looked up or noticed it.

Craft then departed silently at a very high rate of speed.

my partner, who is 69 years old, was at his front door - he lives in a sheltered housing complex, and a bright orange light appeared in the sky in front of him. it stayed there, and he went to fetch his camera. he photographed the light twice, and it shot off diagonally and vanished. on development of the photographs, there was no orange light, but there WAS a gleaming metal disc, with a striking similarity to a photo in your gallery. so far, although we have submitted the pictures to several places, including NASA, we have not received any information about them. but we know what WE consider they are!

i have no further comments - i was not fortunate enough to see the object. my partner saw it, and was transfixed! he was always very sceptical about anything like this, but now he is considerably more openminded. it certainly rocked him back on his heels that night!

I remember the date of this occurence because it was the day before the Challenger explosion, and I was home sick the day that happened. I have never reported the sighting because I was a child at the time, and figured I wouldn't be believed, especially considering that respectable adults (police, doctors, military personnel etc.) aren't believed about their sightings to this day. I was walking across the parking lot of my apartment complex on my way home from a friend's house, when I noticed a disc of light hovering high in the sky over my apartment building. I was very curious about space travel and exploration, and it was on my mind since the space shuttle was to launch the following day. It was definitely not a normal looking night sky object, as it was so high in the sky and not moving at all. I stopped to watch it and it just sat there for a little while, and then suddenly it shot off in a "Z" shape in the sky (it zig-zagged in other words) and took off faster than anything I'd ever seen and was gone from view in a matter of seconds. I dont' remember any loss of time or anything like that, but when the disaster happened the next day, I couldn't help but wonder if the two events were somehow related. I scanned the news in the days following the disaster, and my sighting, but there was no mention of the super fast flying disc of light I witnessed.
