Can't say for sure due to lack of difinitive perspective but, appeared to be about the same size as the F4s.

It was approximately 11 PM at a swimming hole away from artificial light., I don't remember there being any moom that night. I observed what first appeared to be the light from a gas lantern moving toward us from the north. As I watched it became apparent that the light was in the air, moving north to south and would have passed slightly east of us. While still to the north and about 60 degrees above the horizon the object made a sudden change to a due west course. After transversing about a 30 degree arc to the west it changed course to due south again and dissapeared over the southern horizon. Keeping in mind that it is difficult to estimate time during such an event my best guess from first sighting to last would be about 3 to 4 minutes. The object had the same bright gas light appearence throughout its course. The changes in course were not turns as would be observed from standard aircraft. there was no change in rate of travel while the change in direction was a sharp 90 degree angle. After the object dissapeared to the south the three of use that had been about twenty yards from each other swam to a common meeting and began our, "did you see that". conversation. While still discussing what we had seen we heard jet aircraft approaching from the east. What became visable was paired exhausts of two twin engine jets in full afterburner that made a sweeping turn to the south following the exact course of the object we had just seen. Neither of the jets were showing navigation or anti-collision lights. The jet aircraft could only have been a pair of F-4s most likely out of Pensacola NAS. At the time I was an Air Force air traffic control operator and knew aircraft recognition and flight characteristics. Shortly after this there were a number of other sighting in the south central US, at least one of which made international news and was thouroghly investigated.

No way it was any acknowledged aircraft of any country on Earth. The change of direction of the observed object should have been impossible.

Due to the distances required for space travel I am a skeptic. However, I know what I saw and there is no way to explain it by rational thought and technology, then or current. Prior knoldge limited to news while growing up in the sixtys.

For years I have dealt with the memory of being paralyzed. The first time it happened I was almost asleep. I heard a girl say " Stacy, go with the noise." I did not understand what she meant at first, then I listened. It was the sound of an am radio with very high pitched sounds that I could "feel". As the "music" (which was a combination of the highest sounds and lowest sounds) became louder, I realized that I was completely numb. I felt immense terror, and realized that I was awake. I could hear my mother in the next room typing on the computer. I tried to open my mouth, but could not. My heart was racing, and I was sweating. I concentrated on trying to just move my arm so that I could knock the lamp off of my nightstand. I couldn't move anything or even open my eyes. Tears were streaming down my face and all I could do was make a hum sound. I began to pray very hard. It stopped as quickly as it had started, and I screamed louder than I ever have in my life. My mom was terrified and came into the room. She thought that it was a dream at first. This happened about seven times during the month. I explained the feeling as "when you touch an electric fence on accident) It was like waves racking my body, and you can't even think for a minute before you realize that you can't move. We had someone come in and check my waterbed to see if I was getting electocuted somehow during the night from the heater. We disconnected the heater, and it happened again. The last time it happened in that house, it was not as scary. I felt the feeling, only my eyes were open. I looked to the bedroom door, as I was looking at the door, I felt myself "fall" below my body into the bed, then roll towards the door. I was moving through thought is the only way I can describe it. I was floating towards the door, and looked at the doorknob. I reached for the doorknob, but found myself on the other side of the door, without even opening it. I floated to my mother's bedroom to tell her what was going on and that I was not afraid. I floated over the bed and in front of her, but she did not see me. I tried to talk, but could not, I was numb. I could see that she was awake and was looking out the window crying. I turned to look out the window, and saw lightning flash in the distance, but heard no storm. I floated back to the hallway, and that was it. I think that it could have been a dream, but the next morning I told my mom about it, and she seemed really bothered by it. After I had gone to bed, she had an argument with a close friend, and had gone to bed crying, and had looked out the window at lightning. Anyways, I have shared this with family members and a few select friends, but I have never gone to a psychologist about it. I did try to explain it to my doctor and he said that my body was falling asleep before my mind....anyways, I stumbled on this site, and read the sleep paralysis and abduction thing. It has me freaking out now. I have always been terrified of aliens and try to avoid movies, books, and pictures whenever I can, but my husband found this through ebaums world, and read it, and it freaked him out (he knows about the numb sleep that I had and knows that I have always wondered about it). So, anyways, maybe someone can help me out, and tell me that this was all just really a dream, and that there is no way that I could have been abducted. After all, I don't ever remember being on craft or an exam. But, I will always remember the girl's voice and the "sound of music" that I heard. It will haunt me for the rest of my life.

Driving home from dairy queen in carterville illinois, i noticed 2 lights in the sky that i had never noticed before over the crab orchard lake area. when i approched a stop sign i noticed one of them start moving almost like it was following me when i turned to my driveway it tured back west toward carbondale area. Then i came back out to look for it and then it was coming back my way heading east back toward carterville area, within approx 5 seconds it was out of my sight to the east.

A clear night, wisps of cloud. First quarter moon. At about 20:20 I saw what I took to be a satellite moving near the moon. I looked at it through my binoculars and saw that the motion of the object was not that of a satellite but was veering from side to side. I thought that the object must be a weather balloon, then it just disappeared. We live near a busy airport. There was no sound.

This information has been volunteered to me by a residents and witnesses of this sighting. The Pine Hill Ramah Navajo Reservation is largely populated by Navajos. The Navajos make up nearly 90% of the population. They have been living in fear since that sighting. I only hope that if they see this entry, they will be brave enough to post their sightings here. cigar-left to right like a plane fuselage but moved not left to fight but horizonally backwards to distance-sideways if you will light silver in color. two lights at night hover big bright then came closer went inside and by the way there's a invisible ship from canicula or capri something that picks up abducted children from a man in a red and white checkered headress like in fahrenheit 911 near carlisle st. all. usually on the 25th of the month maybe every night and the seven aliens i've seen in my apt. are;1st signs walded down my hall like he was on a mission knee or hip was backwards and one facial feature was different than movie-man or being i thought was jesus in white robe that changed colors like christmas lights with fur around wleeves and bottom couldnot see hands and feet hair brown so thick looked like fur and his face was the universe swirling and moving in an elliptical shape-hovered- another like an invisible man in a wet suit bent over and running thru my llliving room--another i didnt see but ran right by me and left a rainbow trail behind him i was beyond thinking so high in my brain no i was not doning drugs or drinking, the one that screwed me up was a brown gray sort of thick textured creature with one or two eyes with a snout like an elephants tucked into a flannel shirt of all things-a round shadow like beind about 2-2 1/2 feet high and a small 110-12 inch creature with one or two tusks i've also seen a huge wolf twice appear and disappear and i hear cats that aren't here my thoughts are that crater is in the room, the sisters, stc pennies drop from the air as do notes, etc.,lots of things happen here

I was in a moving car and as the car was passing an Army checkpoint, i saw a round disc fly straight across the main road and then it went out of sight over the trees opposite to the Army Checkpoint.

Yes a goverment plane or craft on a test flight. (for example the previous sightings of triangular UFO's could have been the Army's stealth bombers)

Silver, it was a distance, but I think it was a "disc shaped". No contrails.

As I was looking at it, I would say 1 inch across from where I was viewing it from my vehicle, it looked small, but it was very very high up the sky. It could have been as large as an airplane, but I can't be accurate because it was a distance away.

I was driving from Archbold Ohio on OH-2 on my way back home through Stryker Ohio. It was mid afternoon around 2PM. The skies were clear, no clouds, a very clear day to view anything up in the sky. I first noticed an airplane as I was driving and I noticed the contrails. But then I noticed another object in the vicinity of the plane, deflitely lower than the plane though. I assumed at first was simply a plane too, but then I said, ok but "no contrails" I started to slow down my vehicle. I was nearing the city of Stryker but I wanted to slow down and keep an eye on the object to see if I could distinguish it and get a better look. It was defintely silver in appearance, it was very high up, I'm not a good estimator, but definitely miles up. There was one airplane "somewhat near the object" and another airplane toward my left. The object was in view for about 30 seconds from start to finish. Then, in a matter of an instant right before I hit the town of of Stryker, I couldn't see the object anymore. Its like one moment it was there, then it blipped out of sight. I'm bewildered becuase the skies were so clear and blue, so I don't know how it could just vanish, but i swear by this, it did just that, vanished. I am 99% it was not of an airplane origin. SAying that, I really don't know what I saw, but it's something I have not seen my whole life.

i don't think so because of how it just disappeared from the atmosphere right before my eyes within a flicker. NO man made object can do this, at least I've never seen one.

I wouldn't consider myself a fan on UFO's but I'm definitely interested on the subject. I have a few DVD documentaries on the subject, "Unsolved Mysteries" recordings etc...I was very pleased to finally have a sighting of my own. I believe some accounts especially when there are multiple witnesses involved, many are just too crazy to be ignored.

So when i took the picture i screamed to my son ''look at that'' he turned around en saw it and also my wife saw it and the two young girls you see on that boot. I cant give you much information then only.....it went alot faster then an airplane, it didnt make any noise, and it was gone in a few seconds...
